This is actually a part of my Housewife blog entries, but I bet it’s better to have it like this. :)
So this is PART 1 of Day 20 as a Housewife. It was a rainy Saturday (August 13, 2011) when Johan and I left Sweden to head West of Denmark for a weekend getaway. It was our first official roadtrip together, and both of us were nervous, since the weather was really bad. Nature was kind enough to give us a little peek at the sun when we arrived at Legoland in Billund. We really had to go there! ( after all, it’s the very first Legoland, since Legos originated in Denmark.) We got there late in the afternoon and surprisingly, entrance was FREE that time (yay!).
Most of the replicas made were from historical Scandinavian towns, a few European cities, animals, NASA and a few other countries’ landmarks, including the US of course. And who would forget Star Wars?
Roadtrip in Denmark was wonderful. :) After a tiring afternoon of driving (for him, hehe) and fun at Legoland, we went to our hotel early evening… (to be continued!)
